Vaccine mandate terminated

The New York Times has reported that New York has dropped its mandate on flu vaccination of healthcare workers, citing a shortage of vaccine as the reason for abandoning the plan.

  1. NY State is about to reverse its stance on respiratory protection as well, according to a recent press release. They will now recommend N95s for all contact with pateints with suspected H1N1. That's bad news for N95 supplies nationally.
