The nation is talking....about KPCs!
Later today our colleague and fellow-blogger Eli will be one of the experts interviewed on NPRs Talk of the Nation. He will be discussing “the next steps in the fight against superbugs”. Thanks Dan for posting this and also for helping me frame the important talking points the night before. Hopefully we can keep this important topic in the publics attention and address the antibiotic drug discovery issues, the microbiology detection barriers and the lack of funding for infection prevention intervention studies.
