A recent
article in the British newspaper, The Observer, reports on the disturbing situation with multi-drug resistant tuberculosis. The article points out the current situation of increasing MDR cases is a result of loss of funding for TB, mismangement of infected patients, and the terrible situation of so few effective antibiotics.
